Information and advice shared during consultation with Confident Parenting practitioners should only be used and implemented if parents agree and feel comfortable to do so.
The wellbeing and safety of children is solely the responsibility of parents and Confident Parenting take no responsibility in feeding and parenting technique’s used by parents.
Hand written records completed with parents as aid memoirs are destroyed on completion of consultation and fresh history taking and information sharing will be carried out if further support required.
Safeguarding
Any information shared between service users and Confident Parenting will remain confidential unless concerns are raised or apparent that may compromise children’s/ family wellbeing, in which case Confident Parenting have a duty of care to share information with relevant services to safeguard families.
